XR Masters Privacy Policy

1. Introduction and Scope

VR Masters, LLC, doing business as XR Masters (“XR Masters,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), respects your privacy and is committed to protecting personal information that we collect or process through our websites, applications, platforms, products, and services.

This Privacy Policy is the primary developer privacy policy for applications developed, published, distributed, or operated by VR Masters, LLC (DBA XR Masters), including applications distributed through the Apple App Store, Google Play, and other application or device platforms.

This Privacy Policy applies to:

• the XR Masters website and other websites operated by VR Masters, LLC;
• MyGeoVerse and other applications developed, published, or operated by XR Masters;
• mobile applications for iOS, Android, or other platforms;
• applications and experiences developed for smartphones, tablets, smart glasses, augmented reality (“AR”), mixed reality (“MR”), virtual reality (“VR”), extended reality (“XR”), and other compatible devices;
• XR Masters software platforms, dashboards, administrative tools, developer tools, APIs, and related services;
• demonstrations, beta programs, testbeds, pilots, research activities, educational programs, and partner deployments operated by or through XR Masters;
• communications, support requests, forms, newsletters, and other interactions with XR Masters; and
• other XR Masters products or services that reference or link to this Privacy Policy.

Collectively, these are referred to as the “Services.”

Certain XR Masters products may provide an additional product-specific privacy notice containing more detailed information regarding functionality or data processing unique to that product.

For example, MyGeoVerse, a product and brand of VR Masters, LLC (DBA XR Masters), provides a separate MyGeoVerse Privacy Policy with additional information regarding MyGeoVerse applications, spatial-computing functionality, AI-enabled features, creator tools, Dashboard, Backoffice, beta programs, and Testbed Programs.

Product-specific privacy notices supplement this Privacy Policy. Where a product-specific notice provides more specific information regarding processing performed through that product, the more specific provisions apply to that processing.

2. Information We May Collect or Process

The information XR Masters collects or processes depends on the Service you use, the features you access, your device, your permissions, and how you interact with us.

We do not necessarily collect every category described below from every user.

A. Account and Contact Information

We may collect information such as:

• name;
• email address;
• telephone number;
• organization or company;
• job title;
• username;
• profile information;
• account identifiers; and
• other information you voluntarily provide.

We may receive this information when you create an account, register for a Service, request a demonstration, participate in a beta or testbed program, contact us, complete a form, subscribe to communications, or otherwise interact with XR Masters.

B. Communications and Support Information

When you communicate with XR Masters, we may process information contained in the communication, including:

• contact information;
• messages;
• support requests;
• attachments;
• feedback;
• surveys;
• bug reports;
• feature requests; and
• other information you choose to provide.

C. Device and Technical Information

Depending on the Service, we may process technical information such as:

• device type;
• device model;
• operating system;
• browser type;
• application version;
• device or application identifiers;
• IP address;
• network or connection information;
• date and time information;
• diagnostic information;
• crash information;
• performance information; and
• supported device capabilities.

This information may be used to operate, secure, diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and improve our Services.

3. Location and Spatial Information

Some XR Masters applications and Services provide location-based, geospatial, navigation, augmented-reality, localization, or spatial-computing functionality.

Where required to provide a requested feature, and subject to applicable device permissions, we may process:

• approximate location;
• precise location;
• latitude and longitude;
• geographic coordinates;
• device position;
• device orientation;
• pose information;
• motion information;
• spatial information;
• geospatial anchors;
• localization data; and
• information generated through GPS, Visual Positioning Systems (“VPS”), spatial anchors, QR codes, image markers, visual localization technologies, or similar technologies.

Whether precise or approximate location is processed depends on the application and functionality being used.

Precise location may be necessary for spatial localization, AR placement, navigation, wayfinding, geographically anchored content, or other location-dependent functionality.

Users may generally control location permissions through their device or operating-system settings.

Certain location-based features may not function if location permission is disabled.

4. Camera, Microphone, and Device Sensors

Certain XR Masters applications may request access to device capabilities where required for specific functionality.

These capabilities may include:

• camera;
• microphone;
• motion sensors;
• orientation sensors;
• depth sensors;
• spatial-mapping capabilities;
• photos or media;
• Bluetooth; and
• other supported device sensors or capabilities.

Camera and Environmental Processing

Camera or spatial information may be processed to:

• understand the surrounding environment;
• detect supported markers or anchors;
• perform spatial localization;
• determine device position or orientation;
• display or anchor AR content;
• scan QR codes or supported visual markers; or
• provide other requested spatial-computing functionality.

Camera imagery may incidentally include people, objects, buildings, or other elements in the surrounding environment.

Unless specifically disclosed for a particular Service, XR Masters does not use camera or spatial information to identify individuals through facial recognition or to create advertising profiles.

Microphone and Voice Input

Microphone access may be used for features such as:

• voice commands;
• speech-to-text;
• AI conversations;
• voice-enabled navigation;
• communication features; or
• other functionality initiated by the user.

XR Masters does not access the microphone unless the relevant functionality requires it and the user has granted the required permission.

5. Artificial Intelligence and Third-Party AI Services

Some XR Masters products and Services include AI-powered functionality such as:

• AI companions;
• conversational agents;
• intelligent avatars;
• virtual guides;
• recommendation systems;
• generative AI;
• natural-language interfaces;
• voice-enabled assistants; and
• AI-powered content or spatial experiences.

When you use an AI-enabled feature, we may process information such as:

• text prompts;
• voice input;
• transcribed speech;
• conversation context;
• user instructions;
• content submitted to the AI feature;
• AI-generated responses; and
• information reasonably necessary to provide the requested AI functionality.

Certain AI functionality may rely on third-party AI, speech-recognition, cloud-computing, or machine-learning providers.

Before personal or sensitive user data is transmitted to a third-party AI provider, XR Masters will provide an appropriate disclosure describing the data sharing and its purpose and will obtain explicit user permission where required by applicable law or platform policy.

XR Masters does not authorize third-party AI providers to use personal information received from XR Masters for purposes unrelated to providing the contracted or requested service, except where independently disclosed to the user or required by law.

Product-specific privacy notices may identify additional AI-related data practices or providers relevant to a particular XR Masters product.

6. User-Generated and Creator Content

Certain XR Masters Services allow users, creators, developers, customers, organizations, or partners to upload, create, publish, manage, or distribute content.

This content may include:

• text;
• photographs;
• video;
• audio;
• 2D assets;
• 3D assets;
• models;
• avatars;
• scenes;
• points of interest;
• spatial experiences;
• geographic information;
• anchor information;
• metadata; and
• other digital content.

XR Masters may process this information as necessary to host, display, synchronize, publish, deliver, manage, or otherwise provide the requested Service.

Users should avoid including unnecessary personal or sensitive information in publicly shared content.

7. Beta Programs, Testbeds, Education, and Research

If you participate in an XR Masters beta program, Testbed Program, pilot, demonstration, educational initiative, research activity, or similar program, we may process information such as:

• participant registration;
• name and contact information;
• affiliated organization;
• role or participation status;
• usage and testing activity;
• feedback;
• test results;
• technical information;
• communications; and
• other information reasonably necessary to administer the program.

Additional terms or privacy notices may apply to specific programs.

8. How We Use Information

XR Masters may use personal information to:

• provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services;
• create and manage accounts;
• authenticate users;
• provide requested features and functionality;
• provide location, navigation, localization, AR, MR, VR, XR, AI, and spatial-computing functionality;
• provide AI-powered interactions and recommendations;
• host and deliver user-generated or creator content;
• operate dashboards, administrative tools, creator tools, and developer services;
• administer beta programs, testbeds, pilots, demonstrations, educational programs, and research activities;
• provide customer service and technical support;
• respond to questions and communications;
• diagnose technical problems;
• improve reliability, performance, usability, and security;
• understand how Services are used;
• develop new features, products, and technologies;
• communicate account, security, technical, Service, or policy updates;
• provide newsletters, company updates, or marketing communications where permitted by law;
• prevent fraud, abuse, misuse, unauthorized access, or security threats;
• enforce our agreements and Terms of Use; and
• comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

XR Masters does not use personal information collected for one purpose for a materially different purpose without additional notice or consent where required.

9. App Permissions and Consent

XR Masters applications may request access to device features only when required to provide requested functionality.

Depending on the Service, permissions may include:

• precise or approximate location;
• camera;
• microphone;
• motion or orientation sensors;
• photos or media;
• Bluetooth;
• notifications; or
• spatial-mapping or other supported device capabilities.

Permission requests are presented through the applicable device or operating-system permission mechanisms.

Users may generally grant, deny, or revoke these permissions through their device settings.

Where consent is required for other data processing, users may withdraw that consent through available account or privacy controls or by contacting XR Masters at [email protected].

Revoking permission or withdrawing consent may prevent certain features from functioning.

XR Masters does not condition access to unrelated functionality on granting a device permission that is unnecessary for that functionality.

10. How We Share Information

XR Masters may disclose personal information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

A. Service Providers

We may use third-party providers for services such as:

• cloud hosting;
• infrastructure;
• authentication;
• communications;
• analytics;
• diagnostics;
• security;
• artificial intelligence;
• speech processing;
• mapping;

• Visual Positioning Systems;

Service providers receive only information reasonably necessary to perform their services.

XR Masters takes reasonable contractual, technical, and organizational measures designed to require service providers and other third parties receiving personal information from XR Masters to provide the same or equivalent protection for user data as described in this Privacy Policy and required by applicable law and platform requirements.

B. AI and Technology Providers

Where a user chooses to access AI, voice, localization, mapping, VPS, or similar third-party-powered functionality, relevant information may be transmitted to the provider as necessary to perform the requested function.

Where explicit permission is required before such transmission, XR Masters will seek that permission.

C. Business, Customer, and Program Partners

Where appropriate for a customer deployment, testbed, pilot, educational initiative, research program, or other collaborative project, limited information may be shared with participating organizations where necessary to operate or administer the project.

D. Legal and Safety Requirements

We may disclose information if required by:

• applicable law;
• regulation;
• subpoena;
• court order;
• governmental request; or
• other valid legal process.

We may also disclose information where reasonably necessary to protect the rights, property, safety, security, or integrity of XR Masters, our users, our Services, or others.

E. Business Transactions

Information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, corporate restructuring, sale of assets, bankruptcy proceeding, or similar business transaction, subject to applicable law.

11. Third-Party Services and Platforms

XR Masters Services may integrate with or rely upon independent third-party services such as:

• Apple;
• Google;
• application stores;
• device operating systems;
• authentication providers;
• cloud infrastructure providers;
• AI providers;
• speech-processing providers;
• mapping providers;
• VPS and localization providers;
• communication services; and
• external websites.

Independent third parties may process information under their own privacy policies and terms.

This Privacy Policy governs information processed by XR Masters and does not replace the privacy policies of independent third-party services.

12. Cookies, Analytics, and Similar Technologies

XR Masters websites and web-based Services may use cookies, local storage, authentication tokens, analytics technologies, or similar mechanisms for purposes such as:

• operating websites and Services;
• authentication;
• maintaining sessions;
• remembering preferences;
• security;
• understanding Service performance;
• diagnosing technical problems; and
• measuring general website or Service usage.

Third-party infrastructure, hosting, analytics, security, or technology providers may process technical information as part of providing these services to XR Masters.

Where applicable law requires consent for non-essential cookies or similar technologies, XR Masters will provide an appropriate notice or consent mechanism.

13. Advertising, Sale, and Targeted Advertising

XR Masters does not sell personal information for monetary consideration.

If XR Masters engages in any activity that constitutes a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under applicable privacy law, we will provide the disclosures, rights, consent mechanisms, or opt-out mechanisms required by that law.

Certain XR Masters products may contain sponsored content, spatial advertising, promotions, recommendations, or other commercial functionality.

If personal information is used or shared for targeted or behavioral advertising in a manner requiring notice, consent, or an opt-out right under applicable law, XR Masters will provide the required notice and user choice.

A product-specific privacy notice may state that a particular product does not use personal information for targeted advertising.

XR Masters does not permit personal or sensitive information collected through an application to be used for unrelated advertising purposes without required notice or consent.

14. Data Retention

XR Masters retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy or as required by applicable law.

Retention may vary depending on the type of information and Service.

For example:

• account information may be retained while an account remains active and for a reasonable period after account closure where necessary for legal, security, dispute-resolution, or operational purposes;
• support communications may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to resolve requests, maintain support history, and protect against fraud or abuse;
• technical and diagnostic information may be retained for periods reasonably necessary to analyze application performance, security, and reliability;
• user-generated or creator content may be retained while the user or organization maintains the content through the relevant Service;
• program and testbed information may be retained for the duration of the relevant project and an appropriate administrative period afterward;
• transient camera, sensor, location, or localization information may be processed only for the period necessary to provide the relevant function unless storage is necessary for a user-requested feature or another purpose disclosed to the user.

When information is no longer reasonably necessary and no legal or legitimate retention requirement applies, XR Masters will delete or irreversibly de-identify it in accordance with our operational procedures so that it can no longer reasonably be associated with the user.

Product-specific privacy notices may provide additional retention information.

15. Account and Data Deletion

Where an XR Masters application or Service allows users to create an account, users may request deletion of their account and associated personal information.

For MyGeoVerse, users may initiate account deletion:

• within the MyGeoVerse application through the account-management settings; or
• through the MyGeoVerse Account Deletion page at:

https://www.mygeoverse.com/delete-account/

For security purposes, XR Masters may take reasonable steps to verify the identity of the person requesting deletion before completing the request.

When an account is deleted, XR Masters will delete personal information associated with the account or, where appropriate, irreversibly de-identify information so that it can no longer reasonably be associated with the user, except for information that must legitimately be retained for purposes such as:

• compliance with legal or regulatory obligations;
• fraud prevention;
• security;
• financial or accounting requirements;
• dispute resolution; or
• enforcement of applicable agreements.

Information retained for one of these purposes will not be used for unrelated purposes and will be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary.

Account deactivation, suspension, or disabling is not treated as account deletion.

Where a MyGeoVerse account is used across multiple MyGeoVerse interfaces or connected services, including the mobile applications, Dashboard, and Backoffice, deletion of the MyGeoVerse account applies to the account and associated personal information across those connected services, subject to the retention exceptions described in this Privacy Policy.

Users may also contact [email protected] regarding account or personal-data deletion.

16. Data Security

XR Masters uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, misuse, or destruction.

XR Masters uses industry-standard security measures appropriate to the nature of the information processed.

Personal and sensitive user data transmitted between supported applications and XR Masters services is protected in transit using secure encrypted connections and modern cryptographic protocols.

Security measures may include:

• encrypted communications;
• authentication and access controls;
• restricted administrative access;
• secure cloud infrastructure;
• logging and monitoring;
• security updates;
• backup procedures; and
• other safeguards appropriate to the Service.

No application, network, transmission method, or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Users are responsible for protecting their account credentials and should notify XR Masters if they believe an account has been compromised.

17. Children and Minors

XR Masters Services are generally not intended for independent use by children under the age of 13 unless the relevant Service is specifically provided within an authorized educational, institutional, research, or supervised environment and all applicable legal requirements are satisfied.

XR Masters does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 except where such collection is legally permitted and appropriate consent or authorization has been obtained.

Certain XR Masters Testbed Programs or educational activities may involve schools, universities, educational institutions, parents, guardians, or other organizations.

Where permitted by applicable law, XR Masters may rely on authorization provided by a school or educational institution acting on behalf of parents only where personal information is collected and used for a school-authorized educational purpose and not for an unrelated commercial purpose.

XR Masters remains responsible for complying with applicable children’s privacy laws and does not transfer that responsibility to participating schools, Testbed Partners, parents, guardians, or other organizations.

Where parental consent or another form of authorization is legally required, XR Masters will ensure that the required consent or authorization has been obtained before processing children’s personal information.

XR Masters does not rely on educational authorization to use children’s personal information for unrelated commercial advertising or behavioral profiling.

Where XR Masters knowingly provides a Service that collects personal information from children under 13, XR Masters may provide additional child-specific or educational privacy notices and consent mechanisms as required by applicable law.

18. International Users and Data Transfers

VR Masters, LLC is a United States company.

XR Masters operates products, partnerships, testbeds, deployments, and Services internationally.

Privacy laws in those countries may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

Where required by applicable law, XR Masters will use appropriate legal, contractual, technical, or organizational safeguards for international transfers of personal information.

MyGeoVerse is a product and brand of VR Masters, LLC (DBA XR Masters).

This XR Masters Privacy Policy applies to MyGeoVerse as an application and Service developed, published, and operated by XR Masters.

MyGeoVerse also provides a separate product-specific Privacy Policy describing in greater detail its:

• mobile applications;
• location and spatial-computing functionality;
• AI-enabled features;
• creator tools;
• Dashboard and Backoffice;
• device permissions;
• beta testing;
• Testbed Programs; and
• other MyGeoVerse-specific data practices.

The MyGeoVerse Privacy Policy supplements this Privacy Policy.

Where it provides more specific information regarding data processing performed through MyGeoVerse, that product-specific information applies to such processing.

23. App Stores and Application Distribution

XR Masters applications may be distributed through third-party application stores or platforms including:

• Apple App Store;
• Google Play;
• enterprise distribution platforms; and
• other device or software ecosystems.

Application stores and platform operators may independently process information relating to:

• downloads;
• installations;
• purchases;
• subscriptions;
• device information;
• diagnostics;
• application performance; and
• application usage.

Their independent processing is governed by their own privacy policies.

Information collected or processed directly by XR Masters through an XR Masters application is governed by this Privacy Policy and any applicable product-specific privacy notice.

XR Masters seeks to ensure that disclosures submitted through application-store privacy tools, including Apple App Privacy disclosures and Google Play Data Safety disclosures, accurately reflect the data practices of the applicable application.

24. Changes to This Privacy Policy

XR Masters may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in:

• our Services;
• technologies;
• business practices;
• data-processing practices;
• legal requirements;
• application-store requirements; or
• regulatory requirements.

When this Privacy Policy is updated, we will revise the Last Updated date shown above.
