When a drone is flying, you can see the world with its eyes on your screen. The combination of drones and augmented reality lets the user see not only the real objects as the drone sees them, but also additional holograhic images, text or marks over the real life objects.

XR Masters’ experience in both drone and augmented reality applications makes Drone AR a technology that can be custom tailored for your needs.

Below are some areas where  we use AR to change the way drones are used:

Disaster Response

Drone AR provides public safety officials with additional data and better situational awareness, helping them with search and rescue efforts. Drones equipped with AR technology can be deployed to help find people that are in need of assistance, to create disaster maps and assess damage after events like hurricanes and earthquakes. By using AR to overlay important data, drones increase the effectiveness of and improve safety for first responders.

Firefighting

Using drones, infrared cameras, and AR, we can create heat maps that can help firefighters locate hotspots, pinpoint people that need rescue, and scan a building to find where flames are spreading ensuring that the structure is still safe for firefighters to enter.

Engineering

With Drone AR, surveyors can superimpose valuable geographic data over the images that come from the drones that are utilized in evaluating land. Engineers can also use Drone AR for inspecting bridges and levees as well as creating 3D models of a project before the ground is even broken.

Law Enforcement
Drone AR can be used in law enforcement for surveillance, crowd monitoring, accident reconstruction, patrol, suspect apprehension, conditional awareness, and search and rescue missions.
