XR Masters’ CEO presented on Enabling Rich Experience on AR Cloud at AWE 2021
The XR community came together in Santa Clara, California for its first in-person event in over two years.

XR Masters’ CEO and Open AR Cloud Association’s Testbed Coordinator Ali C. Hantal co-hosted the “AR Cloud Challenge: The Connected World of The Future” with ReSight’s CEO, Omri Stein on the first day of AWE.
Mr. Hantal and Mr. Stein, as the two co-organizers of the Challenge started working on the challenge in mid-July. The deadline for participants to register was August 20th. Then, the participants teamed up with the challange tech partners, one of which was XR Masters.
The participants worked hard for over two months and submitted videos of their project at the end of October.
Then four of the finalist projects were presented during the live session, where distinguished panel of judges consisting of
Lisa Watts, VP of Product Marketing & Planning at Magic Leap,
Naomi Augustine-Lee, Co-Founder and Augmented Art Director at QXR Studios, and
Gabriel Rene, the Founder and CEO of Verses Labs
selected the winner project.
Mr. Hantal also was a speaker at the “Enabling Rich Experiences on the Open AR Cloud” session along with UXXR’s Director of Spatial Experiences, Suzan Oslin
The session focused on interactive and rich AR Cloud experiences that their teams collaborated on both in Los Angeles Pershing Square and Istanbul Taksim Square.
