XR Masters AR Cognitive App
Applications that are offering hybrid Spatial Computing, Augmented Reality, Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence solutions are becoming a bigger part of our lives everyday now. Whether it’s in games, easing up our daily lives or just for marketing purposes, convergence of these innovative technologies makes it possible to create efficient, cost effective and unique solutions.
For you to test a few of these use cases yourselves, XRM AR Showcase is now on Google Play and AppStore.
The app opens, by default, with our AR Business Card Reader usecase. If you scan a business card of one of our executives, you will experience an AR enabled business card, where our flying builder bot (we call him VRMBot) flies down and lands on the business card you are holding. Then, it starts creating the hologpraphic content on the physical card. Content such as our 3D Logo and clickable “call me” or “e-mail me” buttons customized for the owner of the business card.
Finally, VRMBot flies away right after creating the 3D human model of the owner of the card on his/her business card. The second use case is called AR Portal. Once the use case is on, you will be asked to tap the screen on your mobile device or tablet to place a holographic door on to a surface of your choice. That door is actually a portal to a holographic world. You can walk thru the portal to visit a 3D model house. It is a studio where you can open or close the blinds by tapping on them and watch the XR-Masters 2D movie if you tap on the screen of the hologram of the TV in this holographic room.
The third use case is the AR Cognitive (Computer Vision) use case, where you can tap the screen to take a photo of the scene of your choice and watch how the image recognition AI will tell you what the objects in that scene are; and communicate the intelligence that is created spatially by superimposing the AR name labels on the corresponding objects on your scene.
This app is a quick show case of our understanding of how the convergence of these major technologies will re-shape the world and open the way for a new spatial, contextual and 3D content era. The one that can be called the Spatial Web Era.
